Environment

We know that the chemical industry is extremely relevant to the environment and is constantly under close supervision. That is why ALTANA AG, including all its sites worldwide, has committed itself to maintaining defined environmental and safety standards. These are based primarily on the principles laid down by the chemical industry's own "Responsible Care" initiative.

For ALTANA, safety and the protection of people and the environment is a concern of fundamental importance, which is why we are constantly working in a purposeful way to extend our expertise in these fields. In this area (alternatively: "In the area of environment"), we would like to present a number of our projects with which we want to make a vital contribution to implementing our self-defined corporate objectives (alternatively: "…regarding environmental protection").

In addition, we are currently working on completing the new Environmental Report 2008. Last year's report is available for you to download free under the item "Environmental Report 2007."
