ALTANA supports its employees by providing a number of professional development opportunities, such as seminars, personnel development programs, annual progress dialogs as part of the Compass dialogue, executive training as well as the structured assessment and further development of our high-potential performers in the so called Talent Evaluation Process.
In addition to these programs, we also give our employees the chance to gain experience through internal internships, participating in or organizing projects, and through flexible replacement rules. ALTANA also allows you to supplement this broad range of development options even further through temporary employment abroad, by switching internally, or by taking on new tasks.
However, on the other hand, we also ask our employees to contribute to their own professional development. This includes taking the initiative (obtaining information about opportunities, actively offering yourself for new tasks, seeking the professional exchange with others, establishing and maintaining networks, and taking on responsibilities), signaling the willingness to change (professional development often requires the ability to adapt to new circumstances and occasionally step out of one's comfort zone) and to be mobile.
