ALTANA AG complied with the recommendations of the "Government Commission German Corporate Governance Code”, which were published July 12, 2005, in the electronic Federal Gazette (elektronischer Bundesanzeiger). ALTANA AG is going to comply with the recommendations of the "Government Commission German Corporate Governance Code” (version of June 12, 2006), which were published July 24, 2006, in the electronic Federal Gazette.
