Purchasing and Supply Chain – Senior Warehouse Packing Operator

Responsibilities
- Controls and executes elements, provides support for other elements within Widnes site Warehouse operations.
- Supportsoverall operating excellence by controlling cost, operating efficiency and working to department service levels.
- Effective Implementation of site Warehouse processes.
- Develop the knowledge, skills and effectiveness of the warehouse team working collectively and as an individual member.
- Establishing positive relations with internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse
- Safety and Environment Statistics
- Quality Conformance in all activities - weight, appearance, etc.
- Maximise Equipment Utilisation
- Achieving targeted packing and blending schedules set out in the resource plan for the area
- Accurate plant and SAP records
- Housekeeping standards – 5S/Area audits.

Requirements
As a key part of the Purchasing and Supply Chain team of BYK Widnes, the role reports to the Purchasing and Supply Chain Officer – Planner and Super User.
Working integrally with other members of the Purchasing and Supply Chain team, the role is responsible for the efficient and effective enactment of the department elements at Widnes site, delivering performance to agreed procedures and standards, suggesting and implementing improvements as necessary to address the changing nature of the business and its environment.
