1.1 Scope of personal data processing

In principle, Facebook Ireland Limited (“Facebook”) is responsible for the processing of users’ personal data on the Facebook pages. To collect this data, Facebook uses cookies, among other things. This is the case even if the user of a Facebook page is not logged in or registered with Facebook itself. Information about the data collection and further processing by Facebook can be found in Facebook’s “privacy policy”.

We, as the operator of our Facebook page, cannot control which data is being recorded and processed by Facebook; we can only view your public Facebook profile. The information accessible to us depends on your profile settings. You can adjust your personal advertising preferences on the page https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen.

There is an option on our Facebook page for you to send us a message. If you do so, Facebook will forward this message to us and we will process it. The data you send us will be processed by us solely in order to address and respond to the content of your issue or input. However, please note that our Facebook page is not intended for sending messages to us regarding the use of our products, quality issues and/or other queries in connection with the safety of our products.

We receive so-called “page insights” data from Facebook. These are anonymous statistics about the application and use of our Facebook page. We use these, for example, to measure the number of page followers and the reach of our Facebook page. From the statistics, we cannot draw any conclusion about your personal use and they only serve the purpose of continually improving and updating our Facebook page. We have no access to the statistics themselves or to the underlying data, which are generated by Facebook. For this purpose, when you visit the Facebook page, cookies are normally placed on your device and are read by Facebook. 1.2 Legal bases for processing personal data

We have a legitimate interest in processing your personal data on our Facebook page according to Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our interest consists of being able to process your messages or contributions, but also in analyzing user behavior and user structure (e.g., comments, “likes”, posts, followers, hits on individual page areas, user statistics according to age, geography and language), so that we can design our Facebook page to be as interesting and convenient as possible for you as user. 

1.3 Transfer of data to third parties

All personal data processed in connection with the Facebook page is forwarded only to our Group companies as well as to those providers of technical services used as processors in accordance with the rules of the GDPR.  In some cases, a communication may also be forwarded to a third country outside the EU or EEA. However, we disclose personal data only to third countries which the EU Commission has determined to have an appropriate data protection level in accordance with Article 45 GDPR, or if we have agreed with the data recipient on the standard data protection clauses defined by the EU Commission in accordance with Article 46 (2) (c) GDPR.

1.4 Deletion of data and storage period

Unless you have requested a specific storage period, we will save your personal data only for the period required to pursue the respective purpose of the processing, and according to legal duties retention on storage periods.

2. Your rights

In principle, i.e., subject to legal restrictions, you have the following listed rights. To facilitate the exercising of these rights, your respective request does not require any specific form and can also be submitted to us electronically, among other methods (especially by e-mail). 

You may request information about your respective personal data from the data controller, 

You may request a correction of any inaccurate personal data by the data controller, 

You may request the erasure of your personal data by the data controller, 

You may request the restriction of further processing of your personal data by the data controller, 

You have the right to submit an objection to the data controller against the further processing of your personal data by the data controller, provided you can give reasons for your specific situation, and, 

You may obtain your personal data in a structured, common and machine-readable format from the data controller, and submit these data to another person without obstruction from the data controller to which the personal data were provided. 

Furthermore, you have the right, to file a complaint with one of the supervisory authorities responsible for data protection regarding the handling of your data by the data controller.
