ALTANA Group launches new website

ALTANA has completely redesigned all the company’s internet websites – globally and for every Division, i.e. BYK, ECKART, ELANTAS and ACTEGA along with the ALTANA holding company. At each individual Division website, the brand structure of the ALTANA Group can now be clearly seen, with all the sister Divisions linked vertically.

One aim of the improvements was to make the content even more accessible to mobile terminals. And so the websites are now compatible with smartphones and tablet PCs, guaranteeing that all the information can be accessed without any problem when people are on the move. Besides the design, ALTANA has also revised the content of the websites and streamlined the upgrading of the infrastructure: thanks to the relaunch, editors within the ALTANA Group the world over can now work on the content from any company location. This fits in with the decentralized setup of the Group. The coordination, however, ultimately rests with Corporate Communications, which controls coordinates processes centrally from Wesel.

The ALTANA websites are visited well over 1.8 million times annually and achieve in excess of 6.4 million page impressions. In the course of the redesign, around 7,000 pages and copious databases and applications have migrated to the new design.
