CURIOSITY
People are at the center of ALTANA’s
activities, both within the company and in
our operating environment. We there-
fore support selected projects carried out
by experienced partners from the field
of education. The focus is on projects that
promote people’s understanding of the
natural sciences, mathematics, informatics,
and technology. As a network partner
of the House of Junior Researchers foundation,
ALTANA has for many years accompanied
two elementary schools and
one daycare center in Wesel in order
to encourage children and youth to learn
about science. ALTANA also supports an
“educational coaching” project that individually
promotes elementary school chil-
dren from socially deprived backgrounds.
ALTANA practices good corporate
citizenship by promoting many small
and large social projects relating to
education, science, and research. We
show that we are a good neighbor
by supporting initiatives near our
sites in Germany and abroad.
