Head of Marketing Communications (m/f/d)
Location: This position can be filled in one of our ELANTAS sites in Germany, Italy or Switzerland
Responsibilities
Exciting tasks await you – Join us in shaping the future of ELANTAS' global marketing initiatives. As the Head of Marketing Communications, you will lead the direction of our strategy, guiding its development and execution. Your main responsibilities include:
- Establishing and providing functional leadership to the divisional global Marketing Communications team
- Developing, planning, and implementing the international Marketing Communications strategy
- Creating segment-specific marketing plans and roadmaps in cooperation with the regional and business line teams
- Collaborating with the business lines to prepare product and market information
- Planning and implementing the internal communication for ELANTAS
- Maintaining and optimizing communication platforms, e.g. web, social media channels
- Coordinating marketing tasks with internal departments (such as ALTANA Corporate Communications and other divisional Marketing Managers) and external service providers
- Maintaining and developing company and product branding, including a trademark strategy in the framework of ALTANA's corporate identity and design
- Leading global marketing projects and initiatives

Requirements
With this profile, you convince us – Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for marketing and public relations? If you're ready to make your mark in our collaborative environment, we would love to hear from you. We're looking for a candidate with:
- A university degree in the fields of business administration, marketing, communications, journalism & media, or a comparable qualification
- At least 5 years of relevant marketing experience – ideally in a global B2B environment
- Proven experience in steering and managing marketing projects
- Ability to work collaboratively with all internal and external stakeholders in a matrix organization and in an international business context
- Excellent target group-specific communication and presentation skills, with a high level of professional and personal persuasiveness
- An affinity for technical topics
- High personal motivation, self-initiative and entrepreneurial spirit
- Intercultural awareness and competence
- Flexibility to travel globally
- Experience in the chemical industry and familiarity with content management systems for inter- and intranet (especially SharePoint Modern Sites) would be a plus
- Proficiency in German and English; further language skills are an advantage
- Computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other business systems
